Welcome to Tuesday Greens #25! We are about to embark on some major garden area and house renovations.

1) Our garage woodwork is being totally removed and replaced. It’s the least expensive way for us to take care of the lead paint that we discovered last year and will make me breathe easier about what we grow in the yard.

2) Our wrought iron railings are getting repainted. I can’t wait for my clematis to make it’s way back against the backdrop of freshly painted black railings.

3) Our front columns are getting new bases and will be repainted. Hello fresh look to the front of the house!

4) We are also having a fence installed. New flower beds, less hedges and a safer way for Tomato to be outside while I garden. Toddlers are fast runners folks and this mama needs to get her weeding done without worrying.

I am so excited for these developments, but am realistic that we may not get green beans or peas in to the ground in time this year. C’est la vie! Do any of you have any big yard or farm projects to tackle this spring? I look forward to reading your posts and pinning them on my Tuesday Greens Pinterest board

I still haven’t planted my snap peas. Though my sister got hers and broccoli in the ground over a week ago. Oh, well, maybe this weekend when I’m actually home. :)

Thanks for hosting!
I use essential oils and vinegar in my garden instead of toxins so I linked up posts sharing how I use them..

Have a great week!

We’re also painting some rusty railings using the advice of this post at Remoldelando la Casa. http://www.remodelandolacasa.com/2012/05/front-yard-care-and-de-rusting.html Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
