One of the ways in which I am approaching making financial goals for 2013 is to be more creative with how we can generate some cash. Starting to run ads on the blog is one way, and selling my yarn is another. Now, every knitter I know has or will accumulate a yarn stash in his/her lifetime. But, the key to managing the stash is reflection. After having less time to knit in 2012, I set the goal for 2013 to be to part with some that I no longer need. Yes, this knitter is willing to let things go.
This is what the yarn stash of someone who has bought too much and who now has a two year old looks like.
After much reflection on what I like and no longer like, have a project for or don’t have a project for, it now looks like this. So, this is where Ravelry and my blog come in. Below, I have listed all of my yarns for sale. The picture is accompanied by a description of the type of yarn, color and dye lot and a price (which includes shipping within the US). I will also be listing everything for sale over on Ravelry. If you are interested in buying some, please email me at email@example.com with your inquiry and I will let you know if it is still available. Payment will be by PayPal and when payment is received, I will mail out the yarn. So, without further ado….happy shopping knitters, crocheters and crafters! If you have any financial resolutions or goals for 2013, feel free to share them on the linky at the bottom!
